Alma Wahlberg Dies at Age 78

It’s been almost two years since Donnie Wahlberg posted on his Instagram account “The wall says it all. #TeamAlma ??❤️?” The caption was attached to a picture of him and Alma, in front of a wall with a sign which read “Family. One of God’s Masterpieces.”

That was the last big smile we always loved about her, that Donnie posted on his social the media. The New Kids On The Block just had finished the Mixtape Tour; before going back to the set of Blue Bloods Donnie had visited Alma, a few weeks after the matriarch of the Wahlberg family had given an interview to the Today Show. She seemed well…

A year later, now with a mask, “Baby Donnie” answered to the concern of the BH family regarding Alma’s health and posted a new photo of them hugging each other; back then he wrote, “During my visit, she didn’t remember much, and was often confused, but somehow she was still Alma…”

Then on November of 2020, he posted the last picture of them, writing, “She woke up from a nap and said ‘I hope everyone will love each other’. Then went back to sleep. She’s still the most loving person I know.”

Today, Alma woke up in another life.

Donnie Wahlberg announced the news on his social media. Here are the official statements from Donnie and a letter he wrote to BHs.
