Griffin McIntyre: Not the Kid from Country Comfort Anymore

It hasn’t even passed a year since “Country Comfort” premiered on Netflix, giving Griffin McIntyre his chance to debut as an actor, but the show has been cancelled and, as they say, the show must go on.

On 2021, Griffin made a couple of outstanding appearances as a singer: he joined the New Kids On The Block on stage to play the piano and sing along with them “This One’s For The Children” at NKOTB’s concert in Fenway Park; he also performed the same song with his father – Joey McIntyre – in an ABC Holiday Special.

These days, Griffin is no longer presenting himself on Instagram as “Dylan from Country Comfort” but as an “artist”, plain and simple.

Recently he showed some moves at the sound of BTS…

… moves he’s picked up on his current training as a dancer.

Griffin McIntyre is currently taking dancing lessons with choreographer and actor Dexter Carr.

Carr started dancing at the age of 16 in Miami, FL, and got his first professional job with Chris Brown in his hit music video, Kiss Kiss. While in NYC Dexter had the chance to work professionally with Joss Stone, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland, and Beyonce.

Dexter also got to experience the Broadway community by being a part of the Original cast of Bring It On: The Musical (National Tour and Broadway) and later, In The Heights. Dexter also worked on a Puma National commercial and Discovery Channel Spot. Since Dexter left Broadway he has worked with; Aloe Blacc, Demi Lovato, Missy Elliot, Jlo, Janet Jackson and many other amazing artists.

And now transitioning into choreography has choreographed for Iggy Azalea, Tinashe, Kelly Rowland, Da baby, Lil Baby, The Late Late show with James Corden, and other exciting projects.
