Joey McIntyre To Shoot New CBS Pilot “The McCarthys”

Joey’s got a new gig! A “sweet gig” is how he called it on Twitter, and he’s “really excited about it.” And he waited a whole day to tell us!

CBS upcoming sitcom, The McCarthys, “revolves around an Irish-Catholic, sports-crazed Boston clan and the gay son (Lacy) whose greatest sin is not his sexuality but his desire to spend less time with his family. McIntyre will play Gerard McCarthy, the one short guy in the family who is mad about it.^[1]

After ten years, since he wrapped up his role as Colyn Flynn in David E. Kelley’s “Boston Public,” this would be Joey McIntyre’s return to the small screen on a regular role.
