Joey McIntyre at the 13º Golden Heart Awards

Joey McIntyre and his wife Barrett attended the 13º Golden Heart Awards, organized by God’s Love We Deliver.

A few weeks ago, we watched Joey decorating cakes for God’s Love We Deliver, and we began learning about his commitment to it. Last night he hung up the apron and suit up with Barrett, for the Golden Heart Awards.

The Golden Heart Award serves as a model of how the strengths and resources of the private and public sectors combine to support God’s Love We Deliver in its critical work. Before the event, and as he was standing in front of the building, Joey shared on his Instagram Stories, “Been running by this building for decades thinking, ‘Wow, I wonder if they’ll ever do it over’ and here I am for an amazing night of God’s Love We Deliver (Oh… and my fave dude Pete Buttiegieg)

Cipriani South Street, formerly the Battery Maritime Building, is one of Manhattan’s finest examples of Beaux-Art design. Mayor Pete Buttiegieg (who’s running for president of the United States) received the Golden Heart Award for Outstanding Leadership and Public Service.
