Eat your heart out Johnny Cash, because Joey has made his own rendition of “City of New Orleans” (respectfully)
“Hello America, how are you? Don’t you know me? I’m your native son. I’m the young one in that boyband called the New Kids,” Joey sings, doubting who wrote that song (Steven Goodman is you answer, and Johnny Cash – among others- covered it)
In this bike ride, Joey reflects upon the places he has seen so far, beautiful neighborhoods that makes you dream, and recalls how much his mother used to love walking. Would this Broadway kid be willing to live away from the lights (the endless drilling, lunches at the parks, the squirrels and the – not quite sweet – smell) of the Big Apple?
