Updated: June 20, 2021

The love birds, Jonathan Knight and Harley Rodriguez, kicked off their summer vacation sailing in the Bahamas.

Jon chose the song “Splish Splash” by Bobby Darin to begin sharing their journey and the magnificence of the ocean. Harley posted gorgeous photos of Highbourne Cay and one nostalgic shot of Jon walking away at the beach.

(*) Jon and Harley have always shared their vacations with us, and the photographs they take are quite amazing; so we’ll keep updating this post as they share new photos and clips. Follow Jon on Instagram @jonathanrknight and Harley @harley.rodriguez.

Jon and Harley checked out the tourist guide with the best things to do in the Exuma Islands, at discoverexuma.com, and they shared with us two activities: swimming with pigs… and with sharks!

Nurse Sharks in the Exuma Islands

As Jon points out in his post, nurse sharks are actually “gentle creatures.” According to the National Geographic, “Nurse sharks are slow-moving bottom-dwellers and are, for the most part, harmless to humans. However, they can be huge—up to 14 feet—and have very strong jaws filled with thousands of tiny, serrated teeth, and will bite defensively if stepped on or bothered by divers who assume they’re docile.” [1]
