NKOTB on Live With Kelly And Ryan

The New Kids On The Block continue celebrating the release of “Hangin’ Tough 30^th Anniversary”, and today they did it on Live With Kelly and Ryan wearing boyband’s t-shirts: Donnie with BTS, Joey with the Osmonds, Jordan with New Edition, Jon with Menudo and Danny with N’SYNC.

They talked about how they all met, and Donnie went back to the very beginning; he mentioned he had made connections with Maurice Starr and Mary Alford, and that – since he was close with Jordan and Jon’s brother Chris – he asked Chris if they would join the band he had started with Mark.

So, Jordan and Jon joined Donnie and Mark; then, Donnie says, “Danny found out they were gonna be in it and got jealous, and then of course we found Joe who was the cherry on top.”

They also talked about the fans, learning the choreography and recovering from it, and of course, the Mixtape Tour. At the end of the show, the New Kids performed “Boys in the Band.”
