Live from New York City, the New Kids On The Block showed up on Build Series to talk about the reissue of Hangin’ Tough on its 30^th year anniversary. Here are some highlights:

Did they start the modern definition of the term “boy band”? According to Donnie, no; and not only he explains the term came from England but also refers to New Edition coming out first in the US; thus, New Edition is the one boy band that deserves the credit.

First impressions! What do they recall of each other? Since Joey didn’t grow up with them, he asked Jordan to tell anecdotes from elementary school, when Donnie – on the school bus – would start singing songs and getting everybody to sing along.
