Pop TV Orders Joey McIntyre Scripted Comedy Series

Fresh off the press! It’s everywhere! Joey McIntyre is going to have his own TV show, where he’s gonna play himself in a comedy inspired by his life!

The working title is “The Joey Mac Project” and it’s going to be produced by him, bandmate Donnie Wahlberg and his wife Jenny McCarthy, Tim Gibbons (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Paul Greenberg (Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris) and Jenny Daly (Storage Hunters).

According to the news ^(*), Pop TV (which aired NKOBT’s Rock This Boat) announced at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour that it has ordered eight half-hour episodes, with production set to begin this fall for a 2017 debut.
