We’ve been waiting for this play, and of course for Joey’s return to the theatre, since February 2020! We learned about the premiere date this past May and now we get the chance to grab the tickets to see a story that’s worth telling.
The Wanderer is the story of Dion DiMucci, an Italian-American kid from the Bronx who skyrocketed to fame as a teenage heartthrob in the 1950s and early ’60s with hits like “Runaround Sue,” “Teenager in Love” and “I Wonder Why.” Known as New York’s rebel king, Bruce Springsteen has called Dion “the link between Frank Sinatra and rock and roll.”
