It is the third Father’s Day since Joey McIntyre’s father passed away, and today he chose to celebrate his wife for making him a dad.
On Father’s Day 2019, Joey visited his dad’s grave for the first time since his passing; back then, he posted on Instagram a photo with his children and then another one with his dad and brother Tom, writing,
“I’m the little guy on the left, my bro is on the right and my dad, Tom the Bomb, is the biggie in the middle. Went to his grave today for the first time since he passed in November. But you weren’t there, Dad- just the vessel you came in. You are always with me. Simple as that. ‘I love ya the whole wide world.’”
Last year, during the quarantine and on Father’s Day, Joey McIntyre was filming the fourth episode of his YouTube show “Whatever Night You Want It To Be,” so he posted a funny clip behind the scenes with his daughter Kira, who was giving him a candid feedback on his shot: “Too much of your face.” ?
Now this year, Joey McIntyre chose to give a shoutout to his wife on his instagram stories; “I wanna give a shoutout to my amazing gorgeous beautiful wife, without whom I would not be a dad; a father to three amazing, caring, empathetic, passionate kids; beautiful human beings;” he began saying.
Joey McIntyre and Barrett Williams are about to celebrate on August 9, their 18th wedding anniversary; they have three children together: Griffin Thomas (Nov 20, 2007), Rhys Edward (Dec 13, 2009) and Kira Katherine (May 31, 2011)
His eldest son Griffin, posted on Instagram, “Happy #fathersday to the best dad ever! I love you so much” with three photos from when he was a child.
Joey closed his IG stories talking about his kids: “I know I’m a god dad; they know I’m a good dad, but boy do they make sure that I am a good dad. Happy father’s dad to everybody.”
