NKOTB Announces Magic Summer Tour 2024

After a series of successful Mixtape Tours, the New Kids On The Block have announced for the upcoming year the “Magic Summer Tour 2024”, which takes the name of the one that positioned them as the first boyband all around world in the early 90s (even though Donnie Wahlberg would add that “New Edition” was the very first boyband)

At the Magic Summer Tour 2024, the New Kids On The Block will be joined (once again) by Paula Abdul, and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

With the Magic Summer Tour 2024, the New Kids On The Block will hit the road again after a non-touring year. However, they performed several times throughout the 2023, and they hosted their first fan convention, “Blockcon 2023” (May 26-28, 2023. Chicago). Recently they joined their fans for the “NKOTB Cruise 2023” (Oct 12-16, 2023)

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of their reunion album, “The Block” (2008), the New Kids On The Block are about to release “The Block Revisited” on November 3rd, 2023.

The first single of this new album, “Dirty Dancing (Dem Jointz Remix)” featuring Joshua, DK and Dino of “Seventeen” was released on September 1st, 2023.

Paula Abdul

After her first and only heading concert “Under My Spell” (1991-1992), Paula Abdul returned to the stage in 2016 joining NKOTB’s Mixtape Festival 2016. And in 2017, she returned to touring joining NKOTB’s “Total Package Tour,” which also featured Boyz II Men.

The next year, Paula began performing solo again, in what it was the second heading concert tour of her career. The solo national tour “Straight Up Paula!” (2018-2019) played 25 concerts throughout North America.

On August 13, 2019, Abdul kicked off a residency in Las Vegas. “Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl.” These concerts at Flamingo Las Vegas coincided with the 30th anniversary of the release of the single “Forever Your Girl” (1/10/89)

Off stage, Paula Abdul has been acting, choreographing and performing. In 2022, she was casted for the second season of HBO’s “Made For Love.”

Also in 2022, Abdul made a cameo in the film “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers”, alongside with her animated cat character MC Skat Kat (the character appeared for the first time with Paula in 1989, in the video for her song “Opposites Attract.”) Most recently, Paula guest starred in Disney’s comedy musical “The Muppets Mayhem” (2023)

DJ Jazzy Jeff

American DJ, record producer and actor Jazzy Jeff, is best known for having being a member of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince with Will Smith.

In August 2017, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith performed two shows in Europe: MTV Summerblast Music Festival in Croatia and the Livewire Festival in Blackpool.
