On March we learned about the competition of Farmhouse Fixer on “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge”, and a few months later we received the great news that this HGTV’s TV show would be available for streaming on “Max”. Today, we’ve got details about the teams, previews, the official trailer and a premiere date!
On “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge”, the Farmhouse Fixer team is going to be one among others who will create a real Barbie house ahead of the Warner Bros’ upcoming film, “Barbie” featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
As of May 23, HBO has merged its content with Discovery + becoming “Max“.
About Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge
The series will be hosted by designer, author and entrepreneur Ashley Graham, and we’ll get to watch our favorite renovators working on different areas of the house and designing them reflecting decades from the ’60s to the present.
There will be many surprise celebrity guest appearances. During the competition, acclaimed designer and Barbie collaborator Jonathan Adler will serve as head judge alongside HGTV designer and Barbie Dreamhouse expert Tiffany Brooks, who will be joined by a weekly celebrity guest judge.
The Teams And Their Assigned Areas
Eight teams will be taking their respective areas of the home to new decades.
- Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block): design the exterior (reflecting the ’90s)
- Jasmine Roth (Help! I Wrecked My House) and Antonia Lofaso (of Food Network): the kitchen (’60s)
- Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson (Married to Real Estate): living room, dining room and entry (also ’90s)
