On September, from the backstage of his latest theater play at the Bourbon Room, Joey McIntyre said he was going to “play a few shows” there, by himself, but didn’t mention when.

Then on his latest live stream, after having announced his performance at the Carnegie Hall (which is sold out), he said he’d like to do a few concerts before that show…
Now, we know he’s going to do two shows, and we’ve got the dates!
Joey McIntyre hasn’t performed solo since 2018; back then, he was getting ready to move to New York with his family, leaving the home they have had in Los Angeles for a decade. And he was doing a podcast about it, “The Move”, where he announced his “Hollywood Nights”, a series of six performances (Feb 07-Apr 18, 2018) at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles.
Missing the stage during the quarantine, in 2020, he created a YouTube show called, “Whatever Night You Wanted To Be“, where he performed a mix of covers and his own songs with special guests such as Emanuel Kiriakou and Gabe Lopez.
Since then, Joey McIntyre has released four singles: Own This Town (Oct 23, 20) and Prolific (Aug 6, 21); plus two duets with Debbie Gibson: “Lost In Your Eyes. The Duet” (Jun 4, 21) and “Heartbreak Holiday” (Nov 11, 22) which he co-wrote with Gibson.
Now, ahead of the celebration of his 50th birthday with a show at the iconic Carnegie Hall, Joey McIntyre comes back to the stage as a solo artist at the Bourbon Room in Hollywood. It’s the Return of the Mac, bravehearts!
