Netflix’s Show ‘Country Comfort’, Featuring Griffin McIntyre, Premieres on March! Watch Official Trailer

Well, it seems March 2021 is going to be the month when The Block takes over our screens. Jonathan Knight’s TV show “Farmhouse Fixer” is set to premiere on March 8 on HGTV; and now “Country Comfort” – the new Netflix show in which Joey McIntyre’s son, Griffin, will make his TV debut – is set to premiere on March as well.

Joey shared the news on his Instagram Stories, like this:

Shall we recap Griffin’s journey and learn what this new sitcom is about?

Griffin is Now in Hollywood

“Be bold”, said Joey to himself a year ago, as he was leaving Griffin at the airport to fly solo for the first time; back then Griff was 12 years old, and Joey told us he was flying to California but he didn’t mention why until a few days later.

From the Two River Theatre, where Joey was performing in “#Twelfth Night” (Jan 11-Feb 2) he streamed live to tell us the great news,

“Griffin is now in Hollywood, in his own right, on a new Netflix sitcom (…) We didn’t think he would be professional this early but the stars aligned and he is in good hands.”

“Country Comfort” first day of shooting was on February 9, while Joey was getting ready for another play, “#The Wanderer“; so, him and his wife Barrett Williams had to split their time to check on Griffin in LA. Then on a live chat with fans, on March, Joey mentioned Griffin was filming in Nashville.

But now it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy; the ten episodes of the first season of “Country Comfort” is set to premiere on Friday, March 19, 2021.

What is Country Comfort About?

Comedy, family, cowboys and music! A cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian), father to five children, hires an aspiring singer – Bailey (Katherine McPhee) – to be their nanny. What’s the twist? “Those kids are all musically gifted,” says Heldman (2021) for People.

“As Bailey navigates the family dynamics and becomes a mother figure to the kids, she finds the band she’s been missing — and may find her way back on the road to stardom.”

“Country Comfort” was written and produced by Caryn Lucas, who brought to us “The Nanny” (1993-1999) and who also wrote and produced “Miss Congeniality” (2000)

So! “The time has arrived!” Congrats mom Barrett and daddy Joe! (You did it, guys!) And to the new kid in town…
